This Refund & Replacement Policy explains how refunds and service replacements are handled for website design, development, redesign, ecommerce and related digital services provided by Website Design Kolkata.

No Refund Policy

All payments made for our digital services are non-refundable once work has been started.As website design and development involve time, planning, design work, development, resources and project-specific effort, we do not provide refunds for completed or ongoing service work.

Service Replacement & Rework

While refunds are not available, replacement or rework may be provided in eligible situations, subject to the project scope and our assessment.

If the delivered work has a genuine issue that does not match the agreed requirements, we may correct or replace the affected work where reasonably possible.

Replacement or rework may include:

  • Correcting agreed design requirements
  • Fixing development-related issues
  • Correcting functional problems within the agreed scope
  • Addressing errors in the delivered website
  • Reworking an agreed section that does not meet the approved requirements

Replacement Is Subject To Criteria

A replacement or rework request may be considered when:

  • The issue is related to the agreed project requirements.
  • The delivered work has a genuine technical or functional problem.
  • The requested correction falls within the original project scope.
  • The client provides the required information and access needed to investigate the issue.
  • The request is made within a reasonable period after delivery.

All replacement or rework requests are reviewed individually.

Changes In Client Requirements

A change of preference or a new requirement after approval is not considered a service defect.Requests such as a completely different design, new pages, additional features, new functionality or changes outside the agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may involve additional charges.

Third-Party Services

We aim to create the website according to the agreed requirements and design direction.Reasonable revisions may be included depending on the project scope. Significant changes to the approved design, structure or functionality may be treated as additional work.

Replacement Does Not Mean Refund

If a replacement or rework request is approved, the solution will generally involve correction, modification or replacement of the affected service or work.It does not create an entitlement to a cash refund.

Cancellation After Work Begins

If a client decides to cancel a project after work has started, payments already made will not be refundable.Any outstanding payment obligations for work already completed may still apply according to the agreed project terms.
